Töcksmark church

The church in Töcksfors is a cross church of the kind that was common in the 18th century.

Töcksfors church was built in 1819. The church is a cross church of the type that was common in Värmland in the 1700s. The interior of the church is adorned with ceiling paintings and a neatly carved altar where the upper part dates from 1730 and the lower part from 1822.

The baptismal font of soapstone is of unusual type and dates to the middle of the 12th century and belongs to the oldest in Värmland. Other fixtures include the commemorative lime from the 1300s and a frankincense ore from the 13th century. The church also includes well-preserved church stables.
